What we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we collect the information you enter in our enquiry form, including your name, email address, business or venue name and hospitality type. If you provide them, we also collect your phone number, existing website or Instagram address, approximate budget, project requirements and anything else you choose to include in the message.

We don't ask for payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information through this website. Please don't include sensitive information in the enquiry form.

Our website may also receive basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages viewed. This information can be used by our hosting provider to operate, secure and maintain the website.

How we use your information

Our website uses Netlify Forms to receive and store enquiry submissions. Netlify provides the form-handling service for this website and submissions are managed through our Netlify site account.

The website is hosted by Netlify. Netlify may process personal information internationally as part of providing its services, including in the United States and other countries. Netlify states in its current privacy statement that personal information may be collected, transferred and stored outside the country where it was collected.

We don't use third-party advertising or analytics tools on this website.

Overseas disclosure

Because we use Netlify for website hosting and form handling, personal information submitted through this website may be transferred to, stored in or processed in countries outside Australia, including the United States. Netlify's services may also involve other international locations and service providers.

How long we keep enquiries

We keep enquiry and lead information for 12 months from the date of the enquiry. After that period, we delete or securely dispose of the information, unless we need to keep particular records for an active client relationship or because the law requires us to retain them for longer.

Netlify may retain copies of submissions according to its own service terms and retention processes. We manage our Covers Hospitality lead records on a 12-month retention basis.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. The website is served over HTTPS and access to enquiry submissions is limited to people who need the information to respond to enquiries or manage the business.

No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please don't send passwords, payment card details, identity documents or other sensitive information through the enquiry form.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. You can also ask us to delete your information where we no longer need to keep it, subject to any legal or contractual requirements that require us to retain it.
