Restaurant website design

Restaurant websites that fill the book.

A restaurant website has one job before any other: help someone who has already heard of you decide to book. We design around your menu, your room and your booking system, so that decision takes a minute, not ten.

Restaurant website design

What a restaurant website has to get right.

Most people arrive at a restaurant website with a question: what's on the menu, are you open, can I get a table, where exactly are you. Everything else comes second.

  • A menu people can read

Your menu as real text, not a PDF: quick to load on a phone, readable without zooming, and something search engines can read. Dietary notes, set menus and wine pairings sit where people look for them.

  • Booking in one tap

We link to the booking system you already use, or embed its booking widget where your provider offers one, and keep the button in reach on every page so nobody has to hunt for it.

  • Hours and location in one place

Opening hours, public holiday changes, the address, parking and a map, kept in one place so they match everywhere they appear.

  • Private dining and events

If you take functions, the room, capacity, menus and an enquiry form get their own page, so group bookings arrive with the details you need to quote.

  • The feeling of the room

Photography, words and pace that carry the atmosphere of your dining room, so the website feels like the place people are about to walk into.

  • Found for the right searches

Clear page titles, structured data and fast pages help people searching for your cuisine or your suburb find you, and help search engines understand what you are.

What we bring

What we bring to a restaurant website.

  • Designed for your room

Built around your restaurant's character, not a template shared with every other venue.

  • Menus kept current

Send us new dishes, prices and specials and we'll update the site, as part of Covers Management.

  • Fast on any phone

Pages that load quickly on mobile networks, with photographs sized for the screen they appear on.

  • Looked after after launch

Monitoring, booking journey checks and small improvements, month to month, if you want them.

Questions

Common questions.

Can you work with our booking system?

Yes. We link to the booking system you already use, or embed its booking widget where your provider offers one, and make sure the booking button is easy to find on every page. We don't run booking systems ourselves, so if you don't take bookings online yet, that starts with choosing a booking provider.

Do we need to replace our PDF menu?

We recommend it. A PDF is slow to open on a phone and hard to read. We build the menu as a web page, and you can still offer a downloadable version if you like.

How do we keep hours and the menu up to date?

Covers Management includes content updates: you send us the change, and we make it.

Will the website help us show up in search?

A well-built website helps: clear titles and descriptions, a readable menu, accurate hours and location, and fast pages all make it easier for search engines to understand your restaurant. Nobody can honestly promise rankings, but we'll give you a strong foundation.

What do you need from us?

Your menu, opening hours and booking details, photographs of the food and the room if you have them, and a conversation about what makes your restaurant yours.

Let's get your tables booked.

Tell us a little about your restaurant and what you'd like the website to do. We'll take it from there.
